Reminder: Popularity =/= Quality

  • The more wildly liked something is the lesser it’s regarded in quality because the more people there are the more you’re appealing to the lowest common denominator :pepe-use-head:

Stupid logic. More like special snowflake syndrome. I'll give you another logic. The lesser regarded the product the lesser its probability of having higher regard in quality considering it has been rejected for a reason.

Also it doesn't work for idol music. It's meant to cater to a certain kind of audience: those who seek fanservice and escapism (by the DEFINITION OF AN IDOL). You are not in rock and indie niches sweetheart. Idol "music" is an ultra capitalistic manufactured export. So your point about it being "highly regarded" becomes moot.
