I feel so uncomfortable talking about other people's bodies maybe they are dealing with that, we don't know behind the scenes all we can do is imagine, maybe if fans adress Starship Starship will talk about it who the hell knows. Speaking in a objective way, Starship isn't dumb, if their biggest idol's health is at risk they at very least know that their money is at risk too.
I'm pretty sure they have noticed, we dont know if they are actually doing something about it though.
I dont think we can blame everything on Starship because it doesn't look like they are very restrictive with weight for better or for worse as their idols have a wide range of weight, for example there's people with healthy weight like the Sistars and Cheng Xiao, people that reached the point of being shamed for healthy weight that is above kpop standards like Shownu and more recently Liz, and the ones that are considered exceptionally thin like Hyungwon. Even Wonho was allowed to bulk all he wanted despite that being one of the main reasons he was the least popular member in Korea and completely out of kpop standards. So I dont think Starship is forcing her to maintain this weight, but I don't know.

I have to fully agree with this. Based on what we've seen I highly doubt it's Starship that is encouraging her to get or stay this thin. There's many examples of Starship idols at "healthy" weights, including most of her own group. Sadly, this is probably her own choice. I want to believe that Starship is aware and wants to do something about it but it can be quite difficult to resolve something like this.
I have a family member who suffered from severe ED so I know first hand it's not as simple telling someone to 'just eat'. Now imagine it's a business relationship instead of a family member and it's probably twice as hard to get through..
It's more her parents. This case make me realised that her family is not as rich as people thinks. If they are that rich, they wouldn't give her permissoon to becoming idol.

The one who take it the hardest must be the idol themselves.
We could just hope that they are healthy physically and mentally. For me Liz and Rei are fine. I really don't know what happened bts but Wonyoung has lost weight since SSotS
