Why do NewJeans have the most original and fresh concept in 4th gen?

How did NewJeans come up with something unique and original right from debut and showed a side that was never done before in the Kpop scene? Is there anyone else who can compete with them when it comes to most original concepts and sounds?

Y2k is boring af and easily the worst type of fashion after the 80s

aespa's concept is the only origina concept leftl in kpop atm the 2000's rehash for newjeans and extremely mediocre 2010s for ive are nothing original

if aespa weren't a big 3 group they would only get praises for their unique concept

It's an overlooked concept. Where other groups tried to be girl crush/mature they try something different ( y2k mixed with the girl-next-door concept) that can be tricky to execute but with MHJ who has experience with making similar concepts in the past, it can be done nicely.
