Why did BP flop with their last 3 releases?

Ice Cream barely cracked top 10, Lovesick Girls barely held top 3 and were blocked and now Pink Venom is hardly holding top 3. What went wrong?

IC is the only one who flopped in SK and that is okay, it was made for the west and gave them the biggest hot 100 peak for a gg. LSG was a hit, it has over 900m digital points, 4,3m uls in melon, 2,2m in genie, it was top 2 on Melon against Dynamite. Not a flop. PV is doing amazingly despite the promo.

Being number 1 in charts doesn't give you a hit though, Signal by Twice is a proof of that, the song had the worst longevity out of all their singles that went 1 and is massively outperformed by AIIYL a song that only peaked at 2.
