It seems like the 4th gen takeover has quickly begun this year, and already the shift in generations has became very clear. With the rise (and resurgence) of many girl groups this year, it seems that the days of 3rd gen girl groups are quickly behind us.

Is there still a place for 3rd gen girl groups or is it much more beneficial for them to focus on their futures and solo careers?
