I've seen worst pic from low-budget companies, but coming from YG and being blackpink, this seems lackluster indeed

BP teaser photos have always been very cheap and awful looking, dating back to at least aiiyl. YG are the master of fraud and duplicity in fabricating the image for their groups when in reality there’s very little substance beneath

Those were rushed and were discoussed a long time ago here, yet KTL ended up charting 41 on hot 100 and have over 600m streams in spotify plus a platinum elegibility in the US, which other gg has done that? what 4th gen has done that?

For what bp do yeah it was kinda low quality but they still went viral and ktl smashed, so. It does help other than these teasers everything looked very high quality, especially the music video

Yes. YG is lucky BP are gorgeous.

I don't think people realize that HYLT teasers were the exception, not the norm for YG. YG teasers are usually boring and cheap looking, like have you seen the white cast on the AIIYL teasers my god lol

They went out of their way for HYLT because they were afraid BP would bomb because of KTL underperforming in SK, Burning Sun, and 1+ year hiatus, they usually don't put in much effort otherwise

It's not like the new ones are really creative. They are just as basic.
