Redvelvet and SNSD songs are the most public friendly out of all SM groups

they’re fun, easy to listen to, and are addictive. No need for heavy beat drops and electronic sounds.

I thought redvelvet was a hit or miss. Umpah umpah for example was atrocious at first listen since the deep chanting of “umpah umpah” reminded me of the little people in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. But if you take out the chanting in the beginning, the song is actually very good.

I mean the simplest way to find out who’s public friendly is to just look at the charts and seeing who charts well. SNSD is by far SM most public friendly group with RV coming 2nd (though they have some “flops”).
