Sure there are some stupid company stans who only use the situation for fanwars. But that's not everyone.
Of course a group under Hybe will have more exposure than some random nugu?! Of course Min Heejin being the CEO of Ador and creator of NewJeans puts her in more exposure that she has ever been in?! And like 95% of the kpop stans today genuinely didn't know about the creepy things she has done, because they happened a long time ago and were sort of hidden away if you didn't know what you were looking for. For most people, this discourse is brand new. Still, the criticism isn't recent, shawols for example have been criticising her since that Sherlock photoshoot happened. And her Instagram account that is source of a lot of the controversy, was opened a few years ago. I checked and she was getting like max. 50 comments per post before NJ. Unsurprisingly, very few people actually care what some staff posts, even if she is considered better known staff.
This woman has sexualised minors and people who had just turned legal, and has a weird obsession with media glorifying child sexual exploitation, including calling the teenager self of a woman her muse, who was famously exploited from the age of 10. Perhaps you don't want to throw around the big bad P word lightly and that's fine, I don't like doing so either. But there is no way now to explain away the creepy things she has done.
And don't come with the "but [insert shitty man]!!1!". They deserve to be cancelled, and Min Heejin does too. The two are not mutually exclusive.
She makes me sick and I will not support anything she does in the future, nor the things she has done in the past.
