Hybe did bts really dirty by not letting them do solo promo during their peak

  • Their past mixtapes should've been released as promoted albums. CNS and Daechwita both were successful, have large amount of streams and views. I'm sure they'd have done good on kcharts too. Hiatus effected the charting of solos.

  • You mean the hiatus where they signed a million dollar deal hiatus?

    Nonsense

  • Why armys afraid? Didn't they confidently said kpop will be ruled by 7 soloists? Let's see.

  • Armys who joined fandom 2 minutes ago. Not me.

Same, those that say that confidently are probably the success stans.

  • when you gain something, you lose something. if bts promoted solos during their peak, there's a high chance they would neglect their group's work and they probably wouldn't become as big as they are now. hate dynamite and butter as much as you want but those songs put bts on the map so that now they're less burdened to have successful solo careers and can do whatever music they want.

  • Ask them when did they join the fandom.

They are not new fans. They are being annoying here since long ago.

  • During their peak? They have never be popular than now. They wanted to debut solo in 2020 after they'd finished with the world tour but the pandemic happened. But during that very same pandemic their popularity skyrocketed, they even got nominated for the grammy.

When exactly do you think they could have debut solo?

  • I’m glad the folks here in anon don’t manage any idol’s careers cuz they’d flop if they followed your advice

There was alot of free time between these comebacks I'm not saying they should have released albums just some appearance on variety shows or single releases would've been enough.

I didn't say debut necessarily, just promo with some single or without any single just public appearances.

  • I thought they didn't peak? You change your mind quick :/

  • We don't know if BTS started solo activities earlier whether they would be bigger or not.

Solo activities do contribute to group popularity too. They could've focused mainly on the group whole doing bigger solo promos on the side. Maybe it would've made them bigger as people would've seen different sides to them like with Daechwitta.

We do know BTS made the decision to focus on group and they think that they are starting things solo activities late. That's what they've said.

Maybe everyone should put on their thinking hat before mindlessly repeating the same arguments.

  • Please if Hobi wanted success, he wouldn’t be releasing tracks that are difficult to digest and not for everyone

It’s obvious where his priorities lie this time around.

Hybe hasn’t been doing shit for a while for BTS. No physical albums, I am not that surprised about disappointed over and over again

  • Things would've been different if Hybe hadn't worked so hard to kill all the hype over the past year or so.
