    Because they earn an insane amount of money from the BTS brand. Just think about it, they made a BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY!!! all because of ONE group. A. SINGLE. GROUP.

    If they let the members promote individually and they succeed it would be harder to retain them, they want of their success be linked to bts so that it's harder for them to let go.

    I really want all 7 of them to be successful so that they have prolonged careers even without the bts name but seeing promotion for hobis "album" has left me disappointed.

    Stop thinking the boys as cash cows or bragging cows. Let them live their life the way they wanted. He might promote once he has his album ready so who knows. But let him choose his path.
