    "Hellsing" and "Devil May Cry" styles were inspired by Trigun so changing the iconic artstyle seems like a bad move

    Changed the title of the thread from “"Trigun Stampede" unveils official trailer, to premiere in 2023 (Remake? Reboot? Sequel?)” to “"Trigun Stampede" unveils official trailer, to premiere in 2023 (Remake? Pequel?)”.

    I'm assuming it will be a more faithful adaptation, but the animation is such a miss.

    i recall reading that the original anime deviated a lot from the manga so that may be the case


    the director of the new Trigun is going to be the guy that directed BEASTARS, i don't think Beastars had bad animation but i don't think he would be my first pick for an action series


    and a lot of the displeasure is being caused by them picking new voice actors despite the original cast still being active
