Koreans do care about what countries from the west thinks about them. If suddenly the mass media of Europe and America started to making videos like for example VICE, 60 Minutes and other known programs, the change will start immediately.

It's not the western media's job to expose the shady bs that goes on in Korea. The only reason the western media even fucks with kpop is because BTS and to a much lesser extent BP have proven they have large fandoms in the west. They want those clicks and the revenue it represents. That's it. If it wasn't for those 2, you'd never hear about kpop in the west, ever.
