Has BEP (Stayc’s producer) fallen off?

  • They use to deliver smashers like Cheer Up, Fancy (Twice), Gotta Go(Chungha), Touch My Body (Sistar), If You do (Got7) but their latest efforts with Stayc hasn’t made the same impact. Stayc gets cute hits but not much longevity or impact like Aespa or Ive. Did they fall off?

  • Just like with Teddy, to get a hit song you have to have a good song, preferrably a popular group and/or strong promotion.

Just like with Teddy and his Black Label, BEP's songs don't have the advantage of a popular group/artist using their songs or Big 3 promotional power. It makes a difference.

If some of their STAYC songs would have been used by a Big 4 popular group, it would definitely have charted a lot better, longer and higher.

  • BEP really needs to tighten up their song selection game. They left absolute bops like Same Same and Slow Down in the B side bin while propping up mid songs like Stereotype, ASAP, and Run2U. Run2U is the true disappointment, it had a GREAT first 50 seconds but it all went downhill afterwards.

BEP is hit or miss, like truly hit or miss. When they hit it big, they make absolute megabops like So Bad and Like Ooh Ahh but when they miss, they make terribad songs like TT.
