This sounds like a convo we shouldn't be having in anons honestly.
For musicians who are not rich and successful, TikTok is a valuable platform to get exposure and even those these popular artists are complaining (as many artists due when forced to do any sort of marketing that they don’t care for when they just want to make their art), TikTok has certainly rejuvenated the industry as viral videos boost sales of old songs (Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams for instance) or smaller lesser known artists (Arizona Zervas or Cookiee Kawaii.)
