Belle (심혜원) is the main vocalist of the girl group KISS OF LIFE.
II. Biography
Belle, also known as Annabelle Shim, was born Shim Hye-won (심혜원) in Seattle, Washington, United States, to Shim Shin, a singer popular in early 1990s. She lived in the United States until she moved to Seoul, South Korea after eight years.
III. Career
She starting composing her own music at 17 years of age which was later uploaded to her Soundcloud and also her Instagram profile (which is now an inactive Instagram account likely due to being a member of KISS OF LIFE). She worked as a composer for Purple Kiss, DaDaBoo, Miyeon, and LE SSERAFIM. She expanded her career by working as a lyricist for Kid Milli, Soulbysel, and LE SSERAFIM.
Belle also released her own songs, titled Higher (produced by hongsamman and Ish Hokhmah), Venus (produced by Ish Hokhmah), Every Kind of Way, and LOVE AGAIN, all on Soundcloud.
On May 16th, 2023, she was revealed to be part of the upcoming girl group KISS OF LIFE by S2 Entertainment. They debuted in July 5th, 2023. The group's first extended play, also titled KISS OF LIFE, includes Belle's solo debut, Countdown, which ranked at #199 on the Circle Chart.
