I. Introduction
Yunjin 허윤진 (Huh Yoonjin or Heo Yunjin or Heo Yoonjin) or Jennifer Huh (her English name) is a Korean-American K-pop artist under Source Music.
She is a member of the upcoming girl group LE SSERAFIM.
II. Career
Yunjin grew up living in America with her family. A classmate who knew her said that she is quite popular in her school. She was very active in school activities like theatre and she would also train in Opera. In fact, she was one of the students who represented her school at a state-wide musical competition.
Her start to pursue her passion for singing would be when she moved to South Korea and became a trainee under Pledis Entertainment. She trained for only about half a year until in 2018, she appeared as a contestant on Mnet's survival show, Produce 48 where she represented Pledis Entertainment.
Her Phantom of the Opera cover initially went viral among international fans which would help Yunjin to be recognized by people for her talent.
She was later eliminated in episode 11 after ranking 26th place. Following the conclusion of Produce 48, it was rumoured that she and fellow label mate and contestant Kaeun would debut in a new girl group together. But, after Kaeun left Pledis Entertainment, plans for that debut fell through.
Soon after Yunjin left Pledis Entertainment and it wasn't until Source Music got a hold of Yunjin that it would later be revealed that she has joined Source Music and will be debuting as a member of the agency's new girl group, LE SSERAFIM, in May.
