II. Career
Jaehyuk was part of YG Entertainment's survival show "YG Treasure Box" in 2018. He was announced as the sixth member of Treasure on January 21, 2019.
YGE later revealed that would put together a second group from the show MAGNUM. MAGNUM and Treasure would be two units that would promote separately and together as one group TREASURE 13. However, due to scandals, YGE post-phoned their debut.
YGE announed on January 6, 2020 that the groups would form one group simply called Treasure. Treasure released a performance video on January 30 for their pre-debut single "GOING CRAZY". They later released a teaser video and poster on July 20 for their upcoming debut on August 7. The group debuted on August 7 with their single album "THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE".
