  • I. Introduction

    "Oasis" is the fifth digital single from South Korean KR&B singer/songwriter Crush. It was released on July 9, 2015 and features the song "Oasis" with rapper Zico from the boy group Block B, as well as the b-side "You and I."


    II. Background & Release

    Following the release of his critically acclaimed and commercial successful debut album Crush On You, Crush began appearing in a series of popular and successful collaborations. His collaboration with KR&B singer Zion.T, "Just (그냥)," was a smash that topped the Gaon charts. "Oasis" was his first solo single after the success of "Just." Zion.T also appears in the song's video. Like most of his music, Crush wrote lyrics, composed music and created arrangements.

    The song was a hit with over 851K downloads. It became Crush's third top 10 solo single, reaching #5. The song was also nominated for the Best R&B Soul award at the Melon Music Awards.
