  • I. Introduction

    Devil is the second solo Korean EP by Max Changmin, a South Korean singer and member of the boy group TVXQ. It was released on January 13, 2022, featuring the title track "Devil."


    II. Background & Release

    Changmin performed with TVXQ for the SMTOWN 2022 New Year's Day concert and also debuted his song "Fever" as a pre-release before this EP's release. This announcement followed the release of his second Japanese solo EP in December 2021. The Korean EP was officially announced on January 3, 2022, with teaser images and videos following over the next two weeks. In addition to releasing the stage video from SMTOWN on January 7, an additional promo video was released on January 10 for "Maniac" with a retro style.


    The album includes six songs and was released in two versions: Red and Black. As with other Changmin albums, he co-wrote several of the songs.
