Dayeol is the leader, lead dancer, and lead vocalist of Woollim Entertainment's boy group Golden Child.
II. Career
Dayeol has been a trainee under Woollim Entertainment since 2012. He alongside future Golden Child members Jaeseok, Joochan, Jangjun, and Youngtaek were first revealed through W PROJECT. Which was a series of releases in 2017 which showcased the skills of Woollim Entertainment's trainees. He was featured in a performance video with Jaeseok and Donghyun of Drippin.
Dayeol made his official debut in Golden Child on August 28, 2017 with the release of their first mini album Gol-Cha.
