I. Introduction
Idealism (이상주의) is the third solo EP from Korean singer, songwriter and rapper Colde. It was released on January 25, 2021 and features 7 songs, including the double title track "미술관에서 (The Museum)" and "아무도 모르는 노래 (A Song Nobody Knows)"
II. Background & Overview
After releasing several EPs and singles as part of the kr&b duo offonoff and writing and recording with other artists, Colde released his first solo work in 2018, beginning with his debut solo single "Your Dog Loves You" in March 2018. Idealism is his third solo EP and reflects the distinctive stripped back, guitar-focused mellow style that permeates his work for himself and other artists. This EP finds the singer experimenting with a blend of his styles: intense hip hop and the softer, acoustic style R&B. The EP leads off with a powerful hip hop driven track, reminiscent of his first EP, before moving into an array of songs that reflect his signature style. As usual for his work, Colde wrote most and produced most of the songs on this EP.

The album reached #40 on the Korean Gaon Album Charts, marking his lowest charting on his solo EPs. However, it sold more copies than his first EP and almost as much as the second one.
