  • I. Introduction

    SKYLE is a group group made up of 4 members under Good Luck Entertainment. They debuted on August 4, 2021 with their first digital single Fly Up High.


    The name is an acronym for: Show the Kinetic & Youth Leading a new Episode.


    II. Career

    Back on June 29, 2021, Dispatch released news that One Cool Jasco had started Good Luck Entertainment. Which was a K-Pop subsidiary in Hong Kong and South Korea. It was revealed that Good Luck was setting up a debut for their first girl group SKYLE (who used to be known as Good Luck Girls) which was going to debut in mid July 2021.


    Initially, it was rumored that Jennifer Zhou and Eva Yao, who were both former contestants on Youth With You 2, were going to be in the group. However, on July 9 the girls were revealed to not be in the lineup. The lineup was instead Ginny, Chaehyeon, Erin, and Ujeong. Both concept photos and a debut date of July 19 was released.


    However, the debut ended up being delayed due to the pandemic. A staff member was diagnosed as positive on July 12, and the girls had to get tested. Their results came back as negative on the 13.


    The group finally debuted on August 4 with their digital single Fly Up High.
