Dystopia is the third EP (mini album) from Korean DJ and producer IMLAY. It was released on February 19, 2020 and features five songs, including the title track "Asteroid" with YangYang of boy group NCT.
II. Background & Release
IMLAY (임레이) is a Korean songwriter, musician, DJ and producer under SM Entertainment, who produces and mixes songs collaborating with SM artists, as well as other artists in Kpop and EDM. He also releases his own music and is known for his future bass and trap beats.
The title track "Asteroid" features YangYang, the main rapper in WayV, a sub-unit of NCT. The song was described as "future bass with a synthwave color." The other featured singer on the album is Canadian singer-songwriter Danyka Nadeau, who appears on "Without U," a track previously released in August 2019.
