NCT 127 is a sub-unit of the boy group NCT. In September, a partnership was announced with NEXON and Line Friends and NCT 127, which utilized their music in the popular Kartrider game series. NCT 127's recently released song "Sticker" was utilized in the game. In November, it was announced NCT 127 would have an additional promotional track created for the Kartrider: Drift video game, as part of the KARTRIDER x LINE FRIENDS OST Part 1. It was the first track released from the OST. The song was released with minimal promotion outside the Kartrider branded channels, as NCT 127 was in the middle of the Favorite repackage promotions. It was also stylized as KARTRIDER X NCT 127 in the title.
