I. Introduction
Zombie Crush in Heyri is a 2020 comedy action written & directed by Jang Hyun Sang & starred, Lee Min Ji, Park So Jin (Girl's Day), Gong Min Jung, Kim Ki Ri &, more. It was released on South Korea on July 12, 2020. It tells the story about a daily life in a tumult by a zombie suddenly appearing one day, and the struggles of a three-woman room to protect the village.
II. Synopsis
The three women friends struggle to protect a village from the turmoil caused by the sudden appearance of zombies. In the peaceful Heyri Art Village in Paju, three friends: Jin-seon, Hyeon-ah and Ga-yeon, meet at the opening of the Heyri Art Center and, with a beginner Youtuber and a coffee factory CEO, face the zombie crisis.

Asian Movie Pulse has reviewed the film as - Zombie Crush: Heyri is quite different from most similar Korean movies to have come out in the past few years, in that it is non-political in tone. Whereas most other zombie actions like #Alive or Train to Busan deal with rather obvious sociopolitical themes, Chang’s debut is made mostly as a fun vehicle and the commentary, where there is some, is aimed not at the society or the political regime as such, but rather at the zombie genre. Despite its subpar sound design and somewhat formulaic structure, Zombie Crush: Heyri is a zombie flick that’s full of laughs and scenes that both pay respects to and subvert this somewhat overpopulated genre.
