Jay B - SOMO:Fume


  • SOMO:Fume is the first mini album from South Korean singer-songwriter Jay B. It was released on August 26, 2021 by H1GHER MUSIC and contains seven tracks including the pre-release single "Switch It Up" and title track "B.T.W".

    I. Background

    On July 22, 2021 it was announced that Jay B would be releasing his first mini album on August 26 and revealed the title to be SOMO:Fume meaning "Style of My Own:FUME".


    On August 23, the track list was released announcing that Jay B would be collaborating with several artists and producers including Wheein from Mamamoo, Jay Park, Gray and GroovyRoom. Jay B is also credited as a writer and composer on each track under his producer tag Defsoul.

    SOMO:Fume charted at number 5 on the Gaon Album Chart and has sold more than 40,000 copies since release.
