Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (갯마을 차차차) is a 2021 South Korean television series starring Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho. It premiered on August 28, 2021 on tvN in Korea and is available internationally via Netflix.
The series is a remake of the 2004 South Korean film Mr. Handy, Mr. Hong.
I. Synopsis
A dentist, Yoon Hye-jin, is a woman who has both beauty and brains and a seemingly perfect life finds her life plan falling apart because of the tiny bit of righteousness in her heart. After various obstacles, she moves to the seashore village Gongjin and meets Hong Du-sik. She becomes curious about him. Hong Du-sik is called Chief Hong by local residents. Officially, he is unemployed but is a jack of all trades and a master of odd jobs, helping everyone in Gongjin with any situation they run into.

IV. Reception
The series premiered to critical acclaim and praise for the acting and chemistry between the two leads. The first two episodes recorded ratings over 6% both in Seoul and nationwide. Episode 6 received ratings of over 10% both in Seoul and nationwide.
