I. Introduction
Adapted from a novel of the same name by Guo Site, Unusual Idol Love is a 2021 Chinese romantic comedy television series, starring Ao Ruipeng & Rain lu, directed by Tan Youye, & Sun Jingyan . It began filming in July 2020, & It was announced on August 12, 2020 that filming has wrapped. It tells a story about the cohabitation between the perfect idol who turns out to be a robot and an energetic girl named Ji Nian. It is currently available on iQiyi.
II. Synopsis
Popular idol Hu Li (Ao Ruipeng) is shocked to discover that he is actually created out of artificial intelligence. Because of an irreparable malfunction, his company wants to destroy him using suicidal depression as an excuse. He flees and hides out in Ji Nian's (Lu Xiaoyu) home, thus marking the start to a new arrangement as they learn to live together.
