  • I. Introduction

    "Page 0" is a digital single from Korean duo MeloMance and singer Taeyeon of girl group Girls' Generation. It was the first release of the special promotional season of SM Station, SM Station X 0 ,and was released on August 10, 2018.


    II. Background and Release

    SM Station is a digital music project under SM Entertainment that involves solos or duets from members in existing SM groups, as well as opportunities for singers to experiment in other genres or collaborate with artists inside and outside of SM Entertainment. The project releases a number of singles digitally each year on digital platforms, including streaming audio like Spotify.


    The X 0 season was described as a "cultural project for the young generation" that were a part of a promotional tie-in for SK Telecom's 0 (Young) mobile brand. Beginning with this season, releases were no longer released on a structured schedule. This season falls between the official Season 2 and Season 3 of the project.


    MeloMance are an indie folk duo. Taeyeon, the main vocalist of Girls' Generation, released singles in past SM Station seasons, as well as conducting a successful solo career outside of the group. The song was described as an acoustic pop song with lyrical piano arrangements and charming vocals. The lyrics convey the strength and courage of young people who dream of a wonderful future.
