Don't Need Your Love is a digital single from the NCT sub-unit, NCT Dream, with singer HRVY. It is the 13th single of SM Station Season 3 and was released on June 7, 2019.
II. Background & Release
SM Station is a digital music project under SM Entertainment that involves solos or duets from members in existing SM groups, as well as opportunities for singers to experiment in other genres or collaborate with artists inside and outside of SM Entertainment. The project releases a number of singles digitally each year on digital platforms, including streaming audio like Spotify.
"Don't Need Your Love" marks NCT Dream's second collaboration during SM Station Season 3, after a collaboration with Red Velvet's Yeri for the animated "Trolls" movie. NCT Dream collaborated with British singer HRVY for a song SM as a "synthpop with an acoustic guitar sound and a rhythmic beat." The song is in English and Korean. Promotional materials abbreviated the song as DNYL.
Haechan did not promote with the group on music shows due to his conflicting schedule with NCT 127.
