I. Introduction
Hinapia was a South Korean girl group formed by OSR Entertainment which composed of five members - Minkyeung, Yaebin, Gyeongwon, Eunwoo, and Bada. Hinapia debuted on November 3, 2019 with the single album New Start. Hinapia disbanded on August 21, 2020, and the members decided not to renew their contracts with the company.

III. Predebut
Minkyeung, Yaebin, Gyeongwon, and Eunwoo previously debuted as members of the girl group Pristin under Pledis Entertainment and a subgroup named Pristin V, which included Minkyeung, Yaebin, and Eunwoo. On October 21, 2019, the aforementioned members were announced to be re-debuting with Bada as a hidden member under AlSeulBit Entertainment, which was renamed OSR Entertainment shortly after.

Hinapia's social media accounts were opened, revealing their name to be HINAPIA on October 23 and, on October 25, they released the schedule plan for their debut, set for November 3 with the release of the digital single New Start with their debut showcase to be held the following day. From October 27 to 29, all five concept photos of the members were posted. The group performed their debut single Drip prior to its release on the music program Show Champion during its October 30 broadcast and also the group's concept photo was posted. They formally released the single on November 3, 2019 as the lead single of the single album titled New Start. A showcase for the album titled Pursuit of a New Utopia was held the following day. Hinapia was the eleventh South Korean girl group to appear on the chart with their debut single and, was subsequently nominated for Best Super Rookie at the 2019 K-Champ Awards. On December 9, HINAPIA released their official color, Red Dahlia, as well as their fan name, UBY.
IIIII. Disbandment
On February 2, 2020, it had been reported that Hinapia were aiming to release their sophomore album sometime in early 2020. However, it was revealed later by the leader Minkyeung that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the agency had to postponed the comeback. On August 21, it was announced by OSR Entertainment that, due to the company's difficult situation after the COVID-19 pandemic, the members agreed to terminate their contracts and disbanding the group.
