I. Introduction
NeonPunch was a five-member girl group under A100 Entertainment.
They debuted on June 27, 2018 with the single "Moonlight".
They officially disbanded on August 11, 2020 with the remaining three members to debut in A100's new group, XUM sometime in August.
II. 2020: Dohee & May hiatus and disbandment
On April 24, A100 Entertainment announced that NeonPunch would be coming back as a three-member unit in June with member Dohee unable to participate in promotions due to personal reasons and May taking on a hiatus to focus on her studies.
On May 13, A100 announced the unit would be called XUM, which stands for "Xumething Unlimited Move" and means "infinite movement".
On August 11, A100 confirmed the disbandment of NeonPunch due to difficulties into maintaining the group with various circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Dohee and May's future plans are currently unknown while Dayeon, Baek Ah, and Iaan re-debuted as XUM in August 2020.
