I agree with everything you said except the “DO NOT WATCH IT” part. As you said, it’s pure drama crack, and arguably the birthplace of some wacky tropes — there could be no Heirs without BoF before it. Even if you have to hate-watch it, this drama is an important milestone in understanding the rise and evolution of dramas as a whole. And it seems to me like drama-crack might be coming back into style... after all, what are the THREE seasons of Penthouse except a more slickly produced update to the Boys over Flowers universe? All the bullying and dragon moms we loved to hate in BoF but without the goofy romance that at least gave me some small sliver of hope for humanity.
