I was surprised to see this cause I wasn't expecting her to be working on music this year given the acting gigs but wow! I'm excited to see what she'll put out next.

Just as a response to OP about them going in separate directions, I don't think it says anything towards their friendship towards each other but more on YG as a company and them growing up and wanting to broaden their horizons as individuals. They trained for 4-6 years and were in BP for 7 years under a lot of restriction/control from their company. To me it makes sense that they want to establish themselves individually since they all have very unique styles of music that suit them and branching out/creating their own companies gives them complete freedom to do that. Not to mention they're 4 individuals with much acclaim where they can easily hold their own if they released solo music/solo appearances, etc. Just my view on it though!
