There are a few groups who use autotune past a point where it feels like it's for stylistic effect. Like I don't mind it being used but when a ton of it is used it feels like I sometimes can't make out people's real voices and it can get rid of the character in somebody's voice. Autotune can be used to enhance a voice and give it a cool effect, but it feels like sometimes it's used as a crutch in certain kpop songs and makes voices sound so cold and robotic.
What are your feelings around the use of autotune? And what's some of the worst users of it in your opinion (doesn't matter how old or recent the song is)?
