At the beigning, I even don’t care about what they’re doing. Protest is protest, they’re free. To some extent, I envy them, because they have the rights to protest and speak out what they want. You know, in China……
After one month, more and more news about the protest, I start to follow it, by Weibo, by twitter, by youtube, and after learnt the whole story, I think both sides are wrong. Well, let them continue…
Now, I watch Youtube livesteam every weekend, just want to know what’s really happening in HK, at the same time, I’ll not only check the updates from protesters, but also from anti-protesters. Here is my opinions now:
HK police are so restrained. It’s so hot in HK now, they’re fully armed. They’re so tired, but I don’t think they’re doing something useful. It seems they’re afraid of using their legal power to protect the people, the city, to maintain the order of HK.
During the protest, you can see many protestors attack police with umbrella, brick, etc. they destory public utilities, paint wherever they want. what if they do these kind of illegal acts in so-called western democracy countries? How would police in USA treat them? How some paragon education consultants run this?
For point 2, please check the reports from the western press, they’re always blind and never critisize the protestor. Almost all of their reports are biased. However, we feel very common about it. this is not the first time, or the last time.
