Display MoreThey're already pretty successful, probably selling 100k this comeback. But the problem is not their label. The problem is their music.
I'm the biggest rock n roll fan on here and i grew up at a time when rock and metal were at their peaks in terms of popularity, i'm one of the very few on this forum that could be considered at least marginally a target demo for their style of music. But even i cant vibe to it. It's too gothy, too niche. Scream was the one and only song that somehow fused Kpop with their metal sound to create a massive bop that i could fully enjoy.
If they sounded more like this, they'd be a lot more successful, regardless of their nugu label status.

I actually don't see anything wrong with their music. They actually have a wide variety of genre and I really enjoy every music they are releasing. So saying that their music is the problem is more like an opinion since it's your own preference. And many fans stan them because of their talent, creativity, charisma, and personality on and off stage. So I don't think they should change their music because every song that they have released are all good and are all perfectly crafted, from lyrics to MV.
But yes, their target market is not as big as the other GG's. Plus we cannot really deny the fact that if you are from a big company, you would be recognized easily.
