Your help is wanted for a research study!
I am a PhD student in Mass Communication at the University of Florida. I am seeking participants for a study that asks for feedback about the K-dramas you watch, what platforms you use to watch them, how you engage with the story and the character, as well as what kind of motivations you may have as a result of watching the K-dramas.
The assessment of your feedback about K-drama viewing will help to provide further understanding of why and how audiences watch K-dramas. In other words, the results will help research about K-drama viewership and what kind of interaction takes place when watching K-dramas. Please note that there are no risks or discomforts anticipated and there are no direct benefits of participation for you.
The purpose of the research study is:
- evaluate the relationship between engagement with a K-drama narrative and the interaction that may take place between a viewer and the characters within the narrative.
- to understand how that interaction may influence viewer motivations after watching the K-drama.
The brief survey should not take longer than 10 minutes to complete.
