edit: to answer the OP. SM don't focus on her as much as Winter and Karina, which are clearly biased by SM, her lack of dance is also one of the reasons and is not as bad as you think, Giselle is still very popular and aespa barely debuted 1 year ago, she's gonna be fine
I mean Aespa as a whole has been getting dragged lately for lacking stage presence because of their stoic expressions, but during their debut Winter, Karina, and NN were way more emotive and likely garnered more fans from that on top of their overall talent. Definitely agree with everything you said but I do think the level of stage presence is still one facet that can’t be overlooked when looking at Giselle’s popularity. Fans just aren’t going to talk about an idol as much when they don’t really stand out for any particular reasons on stage, especially if their other members do. I’m sure she’ll improve in the future though with more practice and confidence.

Hate to say it because I love all of Aespa but she’s just boring on stage. I wouldn’t be surprised if SM coaches them to seem “cold” when performing and not show too much expression but it’s just not working for the group. Especially with Giselle I think she just lacks charisma even in her rapping parts where she could shine and that’s a big factor.
