I would guess it's because WY has cuter visuals.
YJ is still very pretty and I think she's going to have a dead sexy glo-up once she's mature. IMO she's much more talented than WY as an idol.

It's weird to hear veteran idols like the Cherry Bullet and CLC girls being called trainees again.
She takes her anime promotion even more seriously
There are groups who write their own lyrics though. (G)I-dle is one of those.
yap, it's happening

That say's next week but it's tomorrow.
Keep looking for it and let us know when you find it.
what you're saying is partially true.. I hope idol rappers write their own raps. A lot of them don't do it
Ok well I agree with you on that. Soyeon does writes her own raps and songs.
pls take nicki out of this list..She's not a "kpop" rapper. She's from the streets, she knows the ins and outs of hip-hop unlike the others mentioned in the list
:rolleyes1:
Rapping is a form of expression. It doesn't matter if you have street cred or not. Drake grew up as a black Jewish kid playing hockey. I think most people consider him a rapper (even if he does a lot of sing rap). There's a commonality in rap like rhymes, flow, technique and etc.
There should be a concept like reddit flairs to mark threads as such.
It's just music in the end.
I don't agree that all of those are even among Soyeon's best verses.
I'm looking for quality shows to watch. I'll consider even more than your top 5.
Soyeon was tame. She should have gone hard and said "leading rapper" instead of "leading idol rapper". Show off some swag even though it's subjective.
Ngl, I was really hoping for more of her rapping on this EP. It was a lot of her singing or sing talking vs actual rapping.
I'd really like to see an evolved UPR3 MC version of her. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever get any cyphers and raw hip hop songs from her. From the looks of her solo work, she's gone for the Pop side of K-Pop. I wonder if it's because she's trying to appeal to a broader audience or if she just loves this style of music.
She has said she would like to participate in another survival show. Although unlikely, it'd be awesome to see her on another rap show. It's probably the best I can hope for.
She has way more drawing skills than I do.
The live band version is even better then the original. Love this! I wish the video would be clearer.
Did you watch it in 4k? I think they were going for an aesthetic where it wasn't meant to be crystal clear.
