Well she obviously can't sing and dance well enough because if she did, people wouldn't think she doesn't deserve to debut.
People are exaggerating things to hate on her. She can keep up with a choreo, she never made any mistakes, her singing is clear and stable. She actually sings better than some girls in Itzy and Twice so there's no reason for her to become the "new punching bag of k-pop" because of her skills like you said. You would think the other contestants were singing like Taeyeon and dancing like Chaeyeon by the way some people are talking here.

There's a bunch of idols out there who are worst than her at singing or dancing or both and they don't get much hate. Some of them are even very popular so I don't know why some people are acting like she's too untalented to debut. She can dance and sing well enough
