Is negativity the reason for the forums’ lack of activity or the opposite?

People said negativity is what drives people away from the forums. But I always see the controversial posts are the ones that receive the most activity. In the old forums as well. So are negative/controversial opinions actually important to generate more activity for akp?

when you have songs like Tomboy breaking records, its obviously not gonna incite as much hype and excitement as great songs do

People would always want something to satisfy them in their miserable lives

It's always the same people making negative threads and replying to negative threads that's why they seem so active.

It needs to be a mix.

exactly, the continu bashing a while ago pretty much drove me away from the main page. also, i know a lot of people who have pretty much given up on interacting on this site bc negativity keeps getting the attention & it's so tiring and useless to spend your free time like that.

A lot of people are extremely negative and defensive.

As soon as other groups get praised for their achievements, local or internationally, they see that as a threat and attack on their own bias and start bashing.
