    Changed the title of the thread from “Is being a kpop fan a job for some people?” to “Why do some treat being a kpop fan as a job like?”.

    Well, people do tend to take their hobbies too seriously. :pepe-tea:

    I mean, that's what happens when you build your identity around the things you like.


    But I do think that certain products like kpop or Marvel incentivize that kind of relationship with their audience. For better or worse is a guaranteed market for them.
