Petition to include women in conscription reaches 200K

Even in Singapore, ppl are asking to include women in national services depending on their physicality I guess. And the Govt is also encouraging more women to taking it up as careers. Tbh I don’t mind doing national service if it was required of me. Finally those men will stfu

Let me start by saying the whole mandatory enlistment is dumb and shouldn't exist in the first place.

Having said that, if it will continues to exist(which it shouldn't) it's only fair that it should apply to everyone equally, saying it's too difficult for women is ridiculous, there are already women in the military, and they could just take the tasks that don't have a high requirement on physical abilities. Not to mention that, it's not as if the men being forced into this are all athletes, yet they still have to do it.
