Rate the acting :- Josh O'Connor vs Adam Driver

  • I love it when the actor expresses emotion in a way where it captivates the audience.

I drew a parallel between those two scenes, both have a fight with their

wives when they have cheated and somehow they justify it.

Note :- If you didn't watch Marriage Story or The Crown Season 4, please don't watch these videos, this will ruin your experience since you don't know the buildup to this scenes.

    Adam Driver's Fantastic Rage acting

(Good job by ScarJo too, I am impressed)

Starting from 3:00, Damn, I was shocked by the pure and raw performance by Driver. The cracking and breaking of the voice and subsequent breakdown. Brilliantly executed.

    Vs

    Josh O'Connor's Commanding presence

(Amazing work by Emma Corrin, She is the perfect Diana)

The atmosphere in this scene is quite different, He is done with the relationship, both are exhausted which eventually leads to this final clash that we have never seen in the season till now.

The scene has better flow towards the explosion of emotions. The buildup is great.

There is no dull moment in this scene,

From 1:10 to 1:55, the argument takes a whole another level. Slightly raising their voices and using their body to express anger and subtle hate for each other.

    1:55 to 2:25

Wow, Josh O'Connor flexes his acting chops here. I don't think any other actor could have done it as well as him.

Not only that, Emma Corrin is strong here too.

And also, the way he delivers the line

"I refuse to be blamed any longer for this grotesque misalliance"

In a single breath is very hard to do. I tried, and failed. Excellent job.
