I love Young Posse, and one of the best things about them (other than Doeun being cool personified) is their wide range of influences on their discography.
You wouldn't call them old-school, nor would you call them new-school because they are both, with some songs sounding like classics like Dr. Dre, and others sounding like Trippie Red.
So I thought it would be fun to try and map out their biggest songs to a song I think most resembles it, if you can think of an either better match, let me know.
(EDIT - As a quick hack, if you fast-forward to the 1 minute mark of each of the following songs, and just listen to 5-10 seconds, you can hear the similarities without having to wait for the songs to warm up first)
All right, let's do the easy ones first:
XXL & Seo Taiji - Come Back Home
This song/music video has many obvious references to Seo Taiji, but it's the bass guitar riff that plays the biggest homage musically to the loop in Seo Taiji's classic track (which in turn was inspired by Cyprus Hill).
Ate That & Dr Dre - Nuthin' But a G Thang Ft. Snoop Dogg
Ain't nuthin but a P thang, baby
Now it get's a little bit trickier:
Scars & Trippie Redd – Miss The Rage ft. Playboi Carti
Here's what I mean when I say you wouldn't call Young Posse strictly old-school because here they are doing Rage Beats. I love this song by the way, super underrated imo.
Freestyle & Beastie Boys - Shake Your Rump
I'm not super familar with Beastie Boys, but as soon as I heard Freestyle with it's DJ scratches and chanted delivery it reminded me of the Beastie Boys songs I have heard. This is one that I think catches the same spirit as Freestlye, but if you think there's a better one, let me know.
Macaroni Cheese & Migos - Walk It Talk It ft. Drake
Is this a stretch lol? As soon as I heard Macaroni Cheese it reminded me of that migos style delivery (the one Snoop Dogg does a great impression of), and so I always think of this Migos song when I listen to it. All the yellows and orange in the music video only add to it.
ADHD & Playboi Carti - Vamp Anthem
It's not just the goofy organ playing in both. Doeun's slurred delivery (the highlight of the song) is straight up Carti style, (oh and there's all the scenes of Jiana sending DMs to Mr Carti too 
)
YSSR & Homixide Gang - Lifestyle
I think this is the weakest connection in the list. YSSR is another rage song, with a fast tempo and aggressive delivery (but because it's Young Posse they still come off mostly as cute), so I wanted to find a rage song that matched those elements, but if you have a better match, let me know!
