Singer Kang Daniel has taken criminal action against the major shareholder of his agency, Konnect Entertainment.
According to YTN's investigation, Kang Daniel filed a complaint today (20th) with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against the major shareholder of Konnect.
The charges include forgery of private documents amounting to 10 billion KRW, embezzlement and breach of trust under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes amounting to 2 billion KRW, violations of the Information and Communication Network Act, and fraud under the Criminal Act, also amounting to over 2 billion KRW.
Kang Daniel claims that the major shareholder used their position to embezzle company funds and forge a corporate seal to sign a music distribution contract worth 10 billion KRW.
Kang Daniel established Konnect Entertainment in 2019. Over the past five years, he has served as both the CEO and an artist under the label, releasing several albums including 'Color on Me,' 'MAGENTA,' and 'YELLOW.'
In June of last year, he released his fourth mini-album 'REALIEZ.
