Most romance novels: a lot of explicit smut scenes.
The romance novels I want to read: A sweet one where two people are having romantic feelings for each other and don't go anything further than kissing... or maybe some that are like the fanfics I have written... (ironically, I have written some kinda steamy fanfics, even though it is tame in comparison to some of these novels)
