  • I honestly don't understand why people think simply including LGBTQ+representation in itself is grounds for instant popularity? At that point it's just plain exploitative, especially when it's not actual LGBTQ+ people doing it and instead big companies that may be looking for brownie points or to bandwagon on the rise of BL popularity like Semantic Error. It's good when people do representation but there shouldn't be this expectation of being rewarded just for the sake of it. LGBTQ+ should be normalized and expecting a pat on the back for every instance is not normalizing.

This reminds me of how people acted surprised when Holland flopped even though, no offense to the guy, his music wasn't good and he didn't have the star factor.

I could understand if you were asking "why aren't people discussing this LGBTQ+ rep more?" -and to that, I would probably say "well, this is a nugu group and most people probably wouldn't have even know this scene even existed" but, that's not the point - instead, you are focusing on the profits of the matter.

  • Using LGBTQ+ representation solely to get attention is making a spectacle out of something that should be normalised and therefore the people who do it for attention deserve to flop.

Idk if that's what their doing but this question does make it seem like just because they have LGBTQ+ representation then they deserve attention and that's not how normalising something works.

  • Well libido was an amazing song and it is almost at 10 million streams and they have other songs that are pretty good they could use more popularity

  • Non big 3.

When big 3 queerbait only then it's representation. Otherwise the think pieces come out.

  • No one cares about lgbt in music. If the song ain’t good, we won’t stream

It would be so horrible if the group members are straight and the company is forcing them to do these kind of scenes just for queerbaiting purposes
