now i know thats a BOLD statement for me to make, but i really-really see it now.
this thought came to my mind because i saw someone on here made a thread titled "Yeonjun will have a solo debut next year" (talking about in 2023), and so i clicked on it, and the person said "He's debuting next year with a full flesh promo, he will offer something similar to Taemin and it'll do good on charts.", also they responded to two people in the thread saying "BigHit is planning to debut Trainee A soon, who'll be their main focus. They've been preparing Yeonjun for his solo debut for a long time, he's doing many solo activities and has his own Instagram and Spotify profile. They're trying to build his own persona and fanbase before giving him a solo." "It's not even his solo era and they're pushing him hard, you're dumb if you think Hybe won't go all out for his solo debut and when companies go all out, the song is always successful." and it made me realize that Yeonjun definitely has the potential to be like Taemin.
what confirmed this thought for me was when i watched him dance to "Bad Guy"....and ya'll.....he has IT for sure..think im lying? take a look real quick, the video only 0:47 seconds long, also towards the end it lags with the song and his dance lol, but here >
also look at this one, this was a run through so he didnt go as hard, and he's the only one in the group wearing red- so it'll be easy to keep your eyes on him >
now you can't tell me after seeing him dance to bad guy (which by the way the main part he danced to in the middle is his voice, so it's almost like it's his song lol. and i know he didnt sound that good vocally on his part, but he CAN sing, and i wouldnt use this as a way to judge his singing) that he didnt eat. like honestly if BigHit/Hybe play their cards right and give him the right music, he could be headed in a good direction solo career wise (apart from TXT group stuff). he has the talent already, he a amazing dancer, can sing well, he's a idol rapper, but do good with what he's given, has the charisma and stage presence, and he has a goofy/cute but cool personality.
Hybe most definitely has a star on their hands, and even though RIGHT NOW he might not be "poppin" in Korea, i could see it in 2 to 3 more years..if that long. he just need a solo opportunity/gig that'll get people interested in him and wanting to check him out..at least from the general public.
